Great Signage Comes from Creativity in Plastics

In retail, nothing beats a great sign. It’s so much more than the letters or message displayed. Classy, interesting, unique – all are words that describe great signage that catches the eye for more than just the message.

That being said, signage must serve a purpose, or why have it? But signage that conveys that message while looking good and being on-brand should always be the objective when embarking on a new project.

If it can be imagined, chances are, it can be created in plastic.

This customer service signage met a number of requirements. Interchangeable panels allow Macy’s to select the right messaging. “Lenticular” imagery on the right provides a semi-animated visual experience. The thermoformed housing keeps everything in place – beautifully.

Regardless of the vision, the wide range of plastic sign materials means that virtually any colour, texture or look is possible. Weight restrictions, durability requirements and UV resistance can all be included in a sign application.

Remember, when designing a sign, it’s not just about the words, it’s about the overall appearance.
