GS Sales president, George Southard, will be attending the International Association of Plastics Distribution (IAPD) Convention in Phoenix, Arizona, from October 4 to 7, 2016.

Learning from association leaders and networking with industry professionals is something that is critical in this business.

On Thursday, October 6, the convention attendees will learn about the state of the association, hear about future plans from the incoming association president and celebrate IAPD members with the Awards of Excellence. And of course, the keynote is not one to be missed from political duo Phil Cox and Colm O’Comartun as well as professional golf coach Hank Haney. What a line up!

Talking politics with Cox and O’Comartun will touch on the presidential election just weeks away and they will answer questions about how the presidential outcome could affect the plastics industry.

Meanwhile, Haney will share his adventures coaching more than 200 PGA tour professionals and how to plan for greatness in your business. With stories and insights, this is sure to be a great and inspiring keynote.

Breakout sessions will also be inspiring as we hear from Sam Richter about how your personal brand can make (or break) your business brand. Heather Christie will talk about powerful meeting facilitation and leadership training. It’s important to ensure meetings are productive and not perceived as useless. Mike Fergurson will share his insights on how to become a sales superstar. Valerie Faust will discuss the importance of mentorship, while Eric Larson shares an engineer’s perspective on plastics performance.
